[grace’s first week of uni]

In this journal entry, I’ll be taking you through one of the most monumental days of my college life, my first week in university.

I started university last August 11th. Despite being a Junior in college, this was my first in-person experience because of the pandemic. Here is a photo of me and my blockmates on our first day! Despite studying in our university for two years, we still felt all giddy.

Initially, I was feeling very anxious about my first day of university. After all, I’ve been cooped up inside my home for the last two years. I feel like this is the case for many of us—it feels very daunting to go back to the way things used to be like, since we’ve all grown accustomed to this pandemic setting. But eventually, we need to step out of our comfort zones and face these fears head on.

Thankfully, my friends were along with me in this journey. Being with my blockmates, the very people I had to endure this pandemic with, made the stress of university a bit more bearable. Not to mention that being with them is always a very fun time :)

[here are some photos from my first week]

Overall, I’m very glad I was finally able to step on campus. After two years of online university and almost 6 months of having a studytube, this really does feel like a full circle moment for me. I am so so excited to see what this year has in store for me, and I’m just as excited to bring you guys with me :)
